A COMMUNITY ART PROJECT

This project consists of a series of workshops in various neighborhoods: Westwood, Price Hill, Delhi Township, Sedamsville, Sayler Park, and Riverside. Led by artist Sarah Rodriguez, participants were asked to create collages representing their favorite memories of the places and spaces they call, “home.”

Collage reflects the meaning for this project, to discover and create levels of connectedness and empathy as we layer together our experiences, histories, and perspectives. Through art there is hope for understanding and repair as we build together.

This project was made possible by the ArtsWave Black & Brown Program Truth & Innovation Grant 2024.

Thank you!
To all the participants for sharing their stories and love for the Westside.
